Our public sector client requires a Senior Java Developer to support the implementation of several incident management response initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Write software in a Linux and MS Windows development environment
Perform programming in Java, Python and JavaScript (React) to develop and transition new or extend existing modules
Perform UX design activities, including markup and styling (HTML/CSS)
Perform scripting in Python/Bash as required
Leverage Gradle and Spring to configure, build and deploy systems and web applications in Spark, AKS, or AirFlow
Perform SQL commands and Oracle, MySQL database administration, and data migration

Must Have:

10+ years experience as a Programmer Analyst
Experience developing using Java, and JavaScript (React) with relational database backend
Experience developing using an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) preferably Eclipse or IntelliJ as well as experience with code repositories such as Git
Experience developing application using Python
Experience with build automation tools such as Ivy/Maven/Gradle
