Description
Our client is Canada's largest retailer. They are looking for a Senior Java (Spring Boot) Developer with GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes to develop, modify, and enhance APIs and backend capabilities.
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Hybrid (4 days/week onsite) in Toronto (Bathurst and Lakeshore)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement enhancements and modifications to existing website experience; including but to limited to payments, orders, inventory etc.
- Modify modifications to microservices and integration to eCommerce platform.
- Enhance cloud capabilities and integration with RESTful APIs.
- Utilize Kubernetes/Docker for local development to orchestrate deployment of applications and microservices.
Must Have Skills:
- 7+ years in Java Development with Spring Boot
- Experience with Reactive Programming and Concurrency in Java
- RESTful API development/integration, Microservices Architecture
- Docker/Kubernetes - local development and auto-scaling
- GCP preferred; open to Azure or AWS
