Senior Platform Engineer with experience in managing Azure platforms/infrastructure and cloud automation tools for a large Insurance client.

Duration:

Full-Time (Contract to Permanent after 900 hours - Roughly 6-Months)

Location:

Hybrid (3 days in office - Toronto, ON)

Responsibilities:

• Support with the design, build, and maintenance of cloud-based platform infrastructure systems like Azure.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code quality and thoughtful design.
• Manage Azure AD groups, access provisioning, and identity management.
• Manage all cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
• Participate in a 24/7 On-Call rotation to address and resolve technical escalations.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines in both On-Prem and Azure cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot issues with Azure DNS, connectivity, NSG, and routing.
• Work with Azure SDK and leverage Azure PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS offerings.
• Contribute to the management and integration of tools like Splunk and Control M.

Must Have Requirements:

• Eligible or possess Protected - B Security Clearance
• 5+ years of experience in Azure platform management and infrastructure deployment
• Proficient in Azure technologies: Data Lake Gen 2, Storage Accounts, Event Hub, Kubernetes, Pipelines, Databricks, Data Factory, Function App
• Experience with cloud infrastructure automation tools: Terraform, Ansible, ARM Template, Bicep
• Strong experience with Azure monitoring and management tools: Azure Monitor, Azure SDK
• Knowledge of Azure Security best practices, including subnet management, DNS, NSG, routing

Nice to Have:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent training
• Knowledge of Splunk and Control M tools integration and support
• Familiarity with Azure PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS offerings
• Generative AI and Machine Learning
• Python Programming
