Our client is seeking an Senior Procurement Specialist to lead complex public procurement projects.



Must Haves:

  • 4-6 years experience in a Procurement or Category Manager role
  • Demonstrated experience leading competitive procurement processes (e.g. RFX) for large scale, complex sourcing initiatives
  • Familiarity running the whole procurement process independently on a large purchasing project of 1million+
  • Strong experience with negotiation, agreements, internal discussions with stakeholders, drafting skills


Nice to Haves:

  • Public-sector experience
  • Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation


Position Requirements

  • Demonstrated Demonstrated experience leading competitive procurement processes (e.g. RFP) for large scale, complex sourcing initiatives in large organization(s) with multiples lines of business.
  • Strong analytical abilities, able to understand and refine business requirements, develop innovative procurement strategies, and draft solicitation documents.
  • Superior drafting skills to create clear, concise and comprehensive solicitation documents and approval documents (e.g. memos and briefing notes).
  • Exceptional communication skills to obtain buy-in and support for procurement strategies from internal customers, and influence outcomes by providing consulting and guidance at all levels and across business divisions.
  • in large organization(s) with multiples lines of business.
