Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the transition from Extended (legacy document management system) to SharePoint Online.


Initially a 6-months contract to start with possibilities of additional renewals. Hybrid model in Vancouver 2 days/week on-site (Thursdays included). 35 hours/week.


Must-Haves:

  • 7+ years as a IT Project Manager
  • Experience leading SharePoint migrations and implementations.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint Online; document architecture, permissions/security, metadata, and content types.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple testing cycles and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Experience working with M365 ecosystem and tools (not just as a user but on projects)
  • Experience with formation governance or compliance-based document storage.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the transition from Extended to SharePoint as the enterprise document management system.
  • Develop a project plan and timeline to meet key testing milestones beginning September 2025
  • Drive configuration of SharePoint for end-to-end testing, ensuring readiness across multiple business units.
  • Collaborate with the M365 Product Manager and IT teams to implement proper security settings, metadata, and content types.
  • Anticipate and manage project risks and shifting priorities in an evolving environment.
  • Work across departments to align expectations, gather requirements, and manage change.
  • Ensure the solution supports efficient document management, searchability, and compliance.
