Our public sector client is looking for a Sr. QA Analyst to design, develop, implement test plans, strategies, and lead testing activities with partners and junior internal test staff.

Initially 12-month contract with chances of extension. Start fully onsite in Victoria and later transition to hybrid.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of manual testing experience
• Jira experience

Nice to Haves:

• Team Lead experience
• 2+ years of performance testing experience
• Previous experience with IMS/Mainframe Testing

Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing: support testing across multiple enterprise systems, create and executes manual test cases as well as exploratory testing for both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Performance Testing: work on projects/programs with complex non-functional requirements, create performance test strategies and plans, run performance tests with different tool sets and understands test results and suggests performance tuning.
• Develop test scripts utilizing comprehensive business requirements, functional documentation and processes;
• Review user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable.
• Review application design artifacts to ensure that solution is testable, and easy to automate;
• Interact with various resources at workspace like business, development as well as analyst teams;
• Support technical support staff and Application Developers to identify and resolve defects;
• Assist in creating test automation frameworks and tools.
