Senior Regulatory Trade Business Analyst - working on an IIROC/CIRO modernization project - 35934

Location Address: 150 King - in office 2-3 times a week

Contract Duration: until 03/31/2025

Story Behind the Need

• Business group: The GWO - Operations Control oversees the day to day operations of Regulatory Trade Reporting.

• Project: The team is currently working on an IIROC/CIRO modernization project, working to create a strategic workflow.

Typical Day in Role

- Working with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies

- Participate in UAT testing

- Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities

- Working to build and test controls utilizing both propriety and vendor based systems (Droit)

- Reviewing and documenting internal processes

- Attending team status meetings

- Working with target operating models

Must Have Skills:

• 8+ years experience as a Business Analyst

• 4+ years experience with Capital Markets

• Prior knowledge/exposure to IIROC/CIRO

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Prior experience with Automated Trade Reporting

• Prior FI experience

Soft Skills:

• Strong communications and influencing skills

• Excellent documentation skills

Best vs Average: the best candidate would have strong analytical skills but also bring a knowledge of the relevant IIROC/CIRO vocabulary

Degrees or certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
