Our valued client is seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to support the migration of legacy applications to Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Initial 3-6month contract with high possibility of extension. Work to be performed remotely (EST hours), as client is based in Toronto/Montreal.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions tailored to business needs.
• Develop and lead the technical architecture of SFMC implementations across multiple channels, including email, SMS, push, social media, and web.
• Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) and third-party systems.
• Lead the implementation of Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and other SFMC tools.
• Define and enforce best practices for SFMC design, security, and data management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and effective SFMC solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SFMC implementation and usage.
• Stay current with Salesforce Marketing Cloud updates, tools, and features, and provide recommendations on new functionalities to improve marketing processes.

Must-Have Skills:

• Demonstrated experience working as a Salesforce architect/technical consultant
• Experience supporting Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) architecture
• Use of AMPscript (scripting language specific to SFMC)
• Experience using REST and SOAP APIs for integration to other platforms
• Use of SQL for writing complex queries
