Description
Our public sector client is looking for a Senior SAP Asset Accounting (AA) Consultant to support the configuration, integration, and optimization of the Asset Accounting (AA) module as part of a broader SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation initiative.
Location: Remote (Canada-based)
Duration: May 1, 2025 - May 1, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage the SAP Asset Accounting (AA) module to enable accurate tracking, valuation, and depreciation of fixed assets.
- Set up and maintain asset master data, define asset classes, and configure depreciation areas and methods.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP AA and other modules such as FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), MM (Materials Management), and EAM (Enterprise Asset Management).
- Support financial reporting by ensuring consistent data flow across modules.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Participate in testing, training, and documentation efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
Must-Have Skills:
- 8+ years of experience with SAP Finance modules, with at least 4+ years focused specifically on Asset Accounting (AA).
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle processes and depreciation methodologies.
- Proven experience configuring and integrating SAP AA with FI, CO, MM, and EAM.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote team setting.
