Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking a Senior SAP FICO Functional Analyst to complete FI integration with FM, CO, MM, SPL, SFT, PM for a SAP S/4HANA government project.

Project Description:

Supporting and enabling the department in each phase of major SAP projects including the SAP S4/HANA migration - options analysis, planning & scoping, development, and deployment.

Must Haves:

  • SAP FICO (10+ years)
  • SAP S/4HANA projects (3+ years)
  • SAP Transformational projects with FI integration with FM, CO, MM, SPL, SFT, PM (2 projects )
  • SAP FI Certification

Responsibilities:

• Configuration and testing with FI, CO, AR, FM, AA, PS, MM, SPL or SFT.

• Identify, make recommendations on and document the SAP S/4HANA “to-be” SAP financial processes and tools while ensuring alignment against industry standard best practices and the department’s operational requirements;

• Lead on behalf of Finance, business requirements gathering workshops to discuss and align on financial process improvements/pain points that would then inform various SAP projects transformation;

• Identifying and advising process changes that impact organization change management, communications, and training strategies and plans, to ensure financial community understands SAP FI process changes and impacts;

• Advising on the impact of the SAP S/4HANA migration on various ADM (Fin) interdependent projects and current financial management business processes;

• SAP FI advice to enable leadership and validation of Departmental integrated processes on financial management and internal controls;

• Advising on status dashboards identifying critical activities and identification of critical paths for DFSI;

• Advising on risk and developing risk mitigation strategies;

• Leading business requirement gathering workshops as well as collaborating on testing for project outputs ensuring quality assurance and identifying impacts on financial processes and community;

• Identify and incorporate S4 toolsets and technology improvements to enable financial management transformation while reviewing to-be process and integration/standardization opportunities;

• Support and lead various transformational initiatives and related governance; and

• Provide knowledge transfer to employees.
