Senior SAP QA Testers to ensure reliability of SAP systems and support S/4 HANA upgrade initiative

Our public client is looking for a detail-oriented Senior SAP QA Testers with experience in both manual and automated testing to ensure reliability of SAP systems and support S/4 HANA upgrade. This role will support project deliveries, enhancements, and maintenance activities within a cross-functional team.

Note: Hybrid. 3 days in the office, 35 hours per week.

Contract is till Dec 31, 2025 with possibility for extension.

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP testing (manual and/or automation).
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, HCM, or others.
• Experience with one or more test automation tools for SAP (e.g., Worksoft, Tosca, UFT).
• Proficient with test management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, etc.)
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing life cycle, and defect management.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum or DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of ABAP debugging, IDocs, BAPIs, or SAP workflows.
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
• Familiarity with non-SAP systems integrated into the landscape (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow).

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to design comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Design and implement automated test scripts using tools such as SAP TAO, Worksoft Certify, Tricentis Tosca, UFT, or Selenium (as applicable).
• Perform different types of testing: functional, regression, integration, UAT, smoke/sanity, end-to-end, and performance testing.
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other QA team members throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in test planning, test reviews, and sprint ceremonies if in an Agile environment.
• Ensure compliance with internal testing standards and best practices.
• Support testing for SAP upgrades, patches, and transport movements.
• Assist in test environment setup, data creation, and test automation maintenance.
