Senior SAP SuccessFactors ECP Lead to lead a multi-year end-to-end US SAP Payroll implementation for a professional services client (S2TSG5)

Our valued professional services client is seeking a Senior SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Lead


Initial 8-month contract with strong possibility of extension. Work to be performed remotely with occasional travel (up to 4 days/week) at the client site for client workshops.


As the successful candidate, you will oversee the implementation of U.S. Payroll within a Canadian-based SAP SuccessFactors project. You will have deep expertise in end-to-end SAP US Payroll implementations, including cloud-based solutions and integrations, and will serve as a key functional advisor during client workshops and project delivery.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) with a focus on U.S. payroll compliance and configuration.
  • Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements, present solutions, and guide decisions.
  • Configure and deploy Payroll Control Center, wage types, schemas, and calculation rules.
  • Set up and support BSI Tax Factory, garnishments, third-party remittances, and finance postings.
  • Manage and execute end-to-end payroll testing, including payroll compare and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Ensure accurate integrations between Employee Central and Payroll systems (P2P).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HCM PA/OM, Time Management, and Finance.
  • Support the implementation of support packs, year-end reporting, and compliance deliverables.
  • Provide ongoing functional support and subject matter expertise throughout the project lifecycle.


Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience working as a SAP SuccessFactors ECP Specialist working with the US version of SAP Payroll
  • Deep understanding of Payroll Control Center SAP ECC / S/4 Human Capital Management Personnel Administration (HCM PA) / Organizational Management (OM)
  • Demonstrated experience with P2P integrations and BSI Tax Factory setup.
  • Demonstrated experience managing payroll schemas, wage types, calculation rules, garnishments, third-party remittances, and finance postings.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting payroll testing, year-end reporting, support pack implementation, and payroll compare activities.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting user acceptance testing (UAT)


Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience leading multi year end-to-end US SAP Payroll implementations
  • Experience working with SAP SuccessFactors Cloud EC Payroll
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French
