Senior Server Administrator to design and support VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon within the Utilities industry (Onsite in Regina, SK).

Our client is looking for a Senior Windows Server Administrator (5+ years) to design and support VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon within the utilities industry (ONSITE Regina, SK).

*note - this role is 100% ONSITE in Regina, SK. Out of town candidates will not be considered unless they are planning a relocation to Regina.

*note - this role requires frequent travel outside of Regina with potential overnight stays.

*note - this role has mandatory requirements. Candidates that do not meet these requirements will not be considered at the time.

Must Haves

• 5+ years Windows Server Administration
• 5 + years' experience with VMware VSphere (ESXi and vCenter) Design AND Administration
• VMWare Horizon Administration
• Microsoft Windows Server 2022/2019 implementation, administration and troubleshooting
• Valid Class 5 Driver's license

Nice to Haves

• 5 + years' experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy design and administration
• Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) administration
• Microsoft Azure Administration
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administration

Responsibilities

• Implementation, documentation, administration and troubleshooting of the enterprise server environment.
• Prepare plans for development and installation of server and storage according to present and future requirements.
• Provide expert technical design, implementation, and administration of the Microsoft on-premises Server environment and Azure cloud environment.
• Provides expert technical support with the VMware environment including but not limited to VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon.
• Provide expert technical support, implementation on Microsoft Server environment.
• Monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting and resolution of system problems to ensure system availability
