Our valued Public Sector Client is looking for a Senior Storage Architect to support their Digital Hub under Air and Space Force development.

The RDH is the digital center of excellence responsible for the digital transformation. Included in this mission is enabling data-driven decision making through the provision of timely, accurate, and reliable data. As the client produces greater amounts of data each day, there are increasing needs to harness this data and transform it into insights for decision making. The RDH needs to leverage a variety of tools and methods to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data onto tools where it can be visualized and analyzed. This process relies heavily on the highly skilled and technical knowledge of storage architects.

The Resource must support the data platform project, leveraging extensive experience in data engineering, cloud architecture, ETL processes, and data governance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new cloud-based data pipelines and ETL’s from new sources using new and/or existing services;
• Develop backend cloud-based databases for historical data storage;
• Develop audit systems for historical data storage and audit;
• Deliver data governance frameworks and compliance documentation;
• Progress reports and final project documentation as required by the TA.

Must Haves:

• AWS 2+ years
• ETL 2+ years
• SQL and PostgreSQL 2+ years
• Spark, PySpark and Python 2+ years
• Reliability clearance
• English only
• Degree, Diploma or Masters in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or any related Engineering or Science.
