Our valued Public Sector client requires a Senior Technical Architect to the design, development, configuration and deployment of a large Federal modernization project, based on JAVA (SpringBoot), Camel , and XML to facilitate the efficient, effective and Agile development of interoperable digital capabilities.


Responsibilities:

  • Working with departments and agencies to review, analyze and model their business needs and functional requirements;
  • Designing and blueprinting Interoperability platform architectures and solutions that align technology to desired business outcomes and benefits;
  • Developing and documenting digital capability implementation strategies, guidelines and components;
  • Advising on platform risks and impacts to the platform;
  • Providing business and information architecture advice, related coaching/mentoring and knowledge transfer to other project and business resources;
  • Providing security architecture and engineering design support for integrating identity and authentication management components that will include single sign-on functionality, into infrastructure;
  • Architecting, provisioning and documenting a landscape consisting of Interoperability components such as: File debauching, ESBs (Enterprise Service Busses), MOM (Messaging Oriented Middleware), API Store(s) and API Gateway(s) support of the software development lifecycle;
  • Installing and supporting off-the-shelf products to support the SDLC;
  • Providing support and architectural guidance to a development team for a build and deployment framework that uses Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) as a method for providing GC Interoperability capabilities;
  • Monitoring industry trends to ensure that solutions fit with government and industry directions for technology and ensuring that the platform designs adhere to industry standards, principles and governance processes;
  • Developing relationships with the Interoperability community to leverage existing experience and expertise;
  • Supporting and delivering demonstrations of interoperability solution components and prototypes to management, business and technical audiences;
  • Ensuring alignment of architecture with the GC enterprise business and information architectures and GC performance objectives;
  • Preparing written status reports for the Technical Authority, as required;
  • Conducting other associated tasks, as requested by the Technical Authority.
