Description
Our valued Public Sector client requires a Senior Project Manager to navigate gating process for an application replacement project.
The software application is used to track paper records holdings by the IM specialist community.
The project must ensure the full implementation of the new tool, the migration of data, the onboarding and the training of the end users.
Tasks:
• Manage project’s scope, time, risks, and quality
• Responsible for day-to-day running of the project
• Prepare and submit gating documents
• Lead the team to identify and asses the available options
• Prepare plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems; work
with a variety of project management tools, i.e. MS Project; MS Planner
• Monitor project plans, and report progress to the manager;
• Provide regular status reports;
• Prepare presentation and training materials;
• Obtain project sign off
• Apply agile project delivery approach throughout the project
Must-haves:
- Previous project experience developing and implementing an application for the Federal Government
- Previous project experience working with TBS gating process
Nice-to-have:
- Previous experience on an IM (information management) project
