Description
Our valued Public Sector client requires a Senior Secret Cleared Oracle DBA to develop database changes for a large pensions initiative.
The resource will work with the project development team and the data modeler to develop the required database changes needed to support the database enhancement project.
Must haves:
- Experience exporting/importing Oracle Schemas
- Experience in query performance tuning activities (Explain plans, InitTrans, etc.)
- Experience DB setup and platform tuning (SGA, Shared Memory, Huge Pages, etc).
- Experience generating and interpreting Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) repots
- Valid Secret Clearance
Tasks:
- Support the ETL and warehouse Services group to deliver the reporting solution on an Oracle database
- Support for evolving business requirements and emerging priorities
- Design, Development, and testing of scripts
- Define technical requirements, technical design, data architecture, data flow from sources, through to integration into target Oracle databases
- Developing functions, stored procedures, and packages
- Prepare ETL target data mapping and specification documentation
- Test and implement processes for the new data architecture and data integration solution
