Sr. Business Analyst to lead Quality Assurance activities for a Mainframe Migration project

Our valued public sector client is looking for a Sr. Team Lead for a Quality Assurance team.

This is a hybrid role in St. John's Newfoundland

Tasks include:

• Help ensure that software products meet business requirements and quality standards. This role involves analyzing business processes and participating in testing activities to ensure product quality
• Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
• Analyze business processes and requirements to ensure they align with business goals
• Participate in acceptance testing and beta testing to validate software functionality
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of software products and provide actionable feedback
• Document detailed test scenarios and scripts derived from business requirements
• Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing

• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Must have:

• 7 years' experience in Business Analysis and/or QA management/lead role
• Post-secondary education (2+year program)
• Ability to work on-site (hybrid) in St. John's Newfoundland
