Sr. Business Project Manager to support various initiatives of our banking client

Location: Hybrid - DT Toronto (1-2 days a week)

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

LOB: Personal and business banking


Must haves:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects
  • Experience with Payments projects (within P&BB)
  • PMP certification is mandatory
  • Expertise in using Clarity and Microsoft Project to manage project timelines, resources, and reporting
  • Strong business PM skills with a focus on change management and stakeholder engagement


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex, cross-functional projects within the banking environment, ensuring successful delivery on time and within scope
  • Transition into an ongoing project, taking ownership and driving it forward with minimal support
  • Coordinate and manage project schedules, resources, and risks using Clarity and Microsoft Project
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams to align on project objectives and ensure successful outcomes
  • Implement and manage change management processes to support project execution and stakeholder buy-in
  • Produce detailed project plans, timelines, and regular status reports for senior leadership
  • Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking project expenses
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and escalate issues when necessary
