Sr. Business Systems Consultant to support marketing technologies for a large insurance client - 5161


Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension)

Location: Remote (Toronto/Waterloo)


We’re looking for a personable Digital Business Systems Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be working within our Global Marketing Stack of Technologies to support our public websites that leverage various marketing based technologies within our ecosystem to innovate and manage our global digital experience for our clients.


Must Have Skills:

  • 5+ years as a business systems analyst working on web and CMS (content management system) technology
  • Experience working with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Insurance/Fi experience


Nice To Have Skills:

  • A College or University degree, preferably in Information Technology, Business Systems Analysis or equivalent experience
  • Experience with marketing technologies such as search, web analytics, SEO
  • Business Analysis professional certification (e.g., IIBA).


Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business and other stakeholders, vendors, application development and testing teams to ensure quality solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our business partners and clients.
  • Understand the technical and operational challenges and objectives that may impact the rollout of an application/process. Use that to drive discussions about solutions and risk mitigation.
  • Establish and maintain trusted advisory roles with clients by gathering and analyzing information to provide recommendations that address and resolve business issues.
  • Promote learning across the team and contribute to the continuous improvement of practice initiatives.
  • Stay current with trends in emerging technologies and how they could apply to the client
