Sr. ERP Development Analyst to support and optimize the clients ERP systems for a large retail client

Our client is looking for a Sr. ERP Development Analyst to support and optimize the clients ERP systems in the retail space.

Overview:

You are highly skilled and motivated ERP/Development Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the organization's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, while also contributing to the development and integration of applications to enhance business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with experience in ERP systems, software development, and application integration

Must Have's:

• 5+ years of experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Strong background in software development, integration, and customization
• Experience with ERP-related technologies such as SQL, XML, JavaScript, or RESTful APIs
• Experience with database management and query optimization

Nice to Have's:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• ERP-specific certifications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• ITIL, Project Management (PMP), or related certifications

Responsibilities:

ERP System Support & Optimization:

o Configure, customize, and maintain ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) to meet business requirements.

o Perform system upgrades, patches, and data migrations.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ERP systems are aligned with business processes and objectives.

o Troubleshoot and resolve ERP system issues and provide technical support to end users.

Development & Customization:

o Develop and implement custom reports, dashboards, and scripts to enhance system functionality.

o Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

o Design, develop, and deploy new ERP features or modifications using programming languages (e.g., SQL, Java, C#, or Python).

o Collaborate with software developers to ensure proper system integration between ERP and other business applications.

System Integration & Data Management:

o Manage integration between ERP systems and third-party applications (CRM, financial software, etc.).

o Ensure accurate and consistent data flow between ERP and other business systems.

o Monitor and optimize data accuracy, security, and performance across systems.

Documentation & Training:

o Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for ERP systems, including configuration guides, user manuals, and troubleshooting procedures.

o Provide end-user training on ERP functionality and new system features.

o Support users with queries, troubleshooting, and ERP-related processes.

Project Management & Continuous Improvement:

o Participate in ERP implementation or upgrade projects, providing technical expertise and project management support.

o Stay current with ERP trends, new technologies, and best practices to recommend improvements to existing systems.

o Assist with system testing, ensuring that new configurations or customizations are functional and meet business needs.
