Description
Sr. Mulesoft Developer to identify, analyze and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mule ESB Anypoint Platform.
Location: North York (Hybrid 3x per week)
Duration: PERMANENT
The Mulesoft Developer is a member of the IT Business Applications team. The Developer will report directly to the Manager, Business Applications and will work with other stakeholders as directed in achieving the application solutions to meet the departmental, corporate and client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, analyze and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mule ESB Anypoint platform including Mule Runtime, Connectors, Design Center and API management
- Able to interpret requirements to develop Mule services/integrations in CI/CD and Agile process working together with DevOps personnel
- Assist in technology decisions related to Mulesoft/integration environment
- Contribute to Applications Development and QA teams to establish best practices implementation of methodologies and toolsets
- Contribute to development and maintenance of technical and process documentation
- Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary for the role
Must have skills:
- 5+ years of experience working with the MuleSoft Anypoint platform (4.x) as a Developer.
- Application Development using Mule ESB and SOA/EAI technologies and API management, MuleSoft - ESB Enterprise Edition, CloudHub
- Experience working with development of REST APIs leveraging:
- RAML (with JSON and/or XML), MUnit Testing, Scaffolding, DataWeave, Error Handling, REST, Anypoint Studio
- PUB/SUB model of messaging and queues, knowledge of Active MQ
- Database access using JDBC, SQL
- Good understanding of underlying Mule ESB architecture with experience of server administration and physical deployment (On Cloud, On Premise and Hybrid);
- Source control management using GIT (Github)
- DevOps practices leveraging CI/CD using Maven, Jenkins, and Mulesoft
- Design Patterns, REST Web Services
