Sr. Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, migration, and service transition of a new initiative with our Public Sector client.

Duration: 9 months (+12 month extension)

Location: Toronto, ON

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design, preparation, construction, and implementation of new technology builds for the New Business Registration Service initiative.
• Liaise with internal/external stakeholders to ensure deliverables and dependencies are successfully delivered.
• Work on the architectural model of hardware infrastructure.
• Work on infrastructure installation and related activities.
• Participate in defining business and technical requirements and support the business by working with stakeholders through the requirements process and using information provided in order to meet business needs.
• Maintain and update technical and project documentation as well as maintain a clear and concise documented process for the implementation
• Work on improvements to the reliability, availability and serviceability of infrastructure where possible.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

Must haves:

• 10+ years of experience in network architecture, design, deployment, configuration, troubleshooting and support in a complex enterprise private/public Azure environment
• Proven experience with Firewalls, Load balancing, QOS, authentication, security, securing personal information and Cloud environments.
• Understand the diverse set of data center and Cloud technologies (Including Compute, Storage, DR) and their interactions with network services.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
