Our energy client is seeking a Sr. Network Technician (8+yrs) with SDN, Palo Alto, and Azure networking operations experience.

The successful candidate must be willing to work in office downtown Calgary Tuesday-Thursday and working remotely Mondays and Fridays.

Must Have:

• 8+ years overall Networking experience (Extensive networking knowledge of BGP, MPLS, QoS, DMVPN, VRF and Cisco Wireless)
• Microsoft Azure Networking (Ideally ExpressRoute as well)

Nice to have:

• Experience with SDN and SDWAN solutions (Cisco and Versa is preferred)
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama (open to beginner level)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Networking (ideally ExpressRoute as well)
• Experience with SCADA and OT networks

Additional requirements:

• Experience preparing written policies, procedures, and technical documents where applicable
• Provide timely updates project status including issues, deliverables, and timelines
• Ability to liaise with numerous departments, members, and functional roles
• Strong working ethics and communication skills
• Ability to work close with Vendors, ISP, SP, and Managed Service Partners to deliver on work tasks
• Commitment to follows ITIL best practices, Pembina defined policies, standards, and procedures
