Sr. SAP FICO Functional Consultant for configuration and BTP modernization

Our large energy client is seeking an employee to join permanently as a Sr. SAP FICO Functional Consultant for configuration and BTP modernization.

Location: Must come into downtown Calgary office 5 days/week. Only local Calgary candidates will be considered at this time.

Must-Have:

• 8+ years SAP FICO experience (Must recently have S/4HANA experience)
• Hands on configuration experience in SAP FI module (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, Taxes, etc.)
• Experience with SAP FCC (Financial Closing Cockpit)
• Experience with SAP GR (Group Reporting)

Nice-to-Have:

• Strong knowledge of SAP SPRO (System, Application, and Product in Data Processing Project Reference Object)
• Ability or hunger to learn how to create SAP BTP (Business Technology Platforms)
• Expertise with SAP CO (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders)

Responsibilities:

• Work within an IT department working with finance & accounting principles to align business processes
• Write functional specs and collaborate with ABAP teams and Business teams
• Transition this client’s environment to enable more low-code no-code SAP features for a future utilizing BTP more
