Position Title: Risk Analyst - "GSOC Analyst"

Line of Business: Corporate Strategy

Corporate Security oversees and manages the close coordination of all security, business continuity and safety related activities within our Bank to reduce exposure to fraud and security related risks and ensure that under conditions of significant business interruption or crisis that the Bank can continue to operate and be restored safely, effectively and efficiently.

Corporate Security is responsible for providing governance, leadership and subject matter expertise to the Bank group of Companies as it relates to the safety and protection of people.

Duration: 6 Months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid. Onsite 1 to 2 days per week. Tuesday or Thursday.

Office Location: 81 Bay St.

Work Schedule (hours per week, start time): Sat/ Sun - 8am-4pm, Mon, Tues, Wed - 9am-5pm, Thursday/Friday - off (schedules may change based on business necessity)

Responsibilities:

· Monitor social media sites

o Acute threats (lockdowns, fires, dangerous situations)

o Severe Weather

o Wild fires

o Protests and demonstrations

· Also responsible for travel reports

o Whenever bank employees travel, they monitor the destination area and report on the situation.

· Monitoring US and Canada

o Currently monitoring the US election

Under the supervision of the GSOC Manager, coordinate intelligence collection and analysis across a large global organization in support of the organization’s global security requirements:

• Monitors data from various sources to identify threats and evaluate opportunities around the world

• Provides reports to the relevant Corporate Security Teams and partners

• Evaluates and diagnoses situations, applies critical thinking and coordinates with other team members as required

• Prepares threat intelligence reports and analysis as required

• Coordinates incident-specific intelligence alerts and rapid turnaround report requests

• Develops a close familiarity with the Bank global operations, key personnel and working culture

• Monitors global events in real time for general awareness and issues that could impact operations

• Conducts incisive analysis and forecasting on geopolitical and security issues, monitors country threat ratings and draws from multiple intelligence sources to plan operations in confidence

• Develops and issues, under supervision, intelligence communications regarding global events with potential to impact staff or operations

• Recognizes situations and initiates protective action using independent judgment and professional training in accordance with incident management best practices, policies and standard operating procedures

• Supports incident and crisis management teams during a security event as required

• Supports complex investigations and conducts basic investigations upon request

• Accountable for delivery and accuracy of analytics and reporting, including executive reporting on data and trends that are used by partners to set both strategic and tactical plans for improvement.

Must Have Requirement:

1. 2+ years of experience as a GSOC Analyst/threat intelligence/threat Analyst/Investigator

2. Experience preparing threat intelligence reports and analysis
