Job Summary:
The custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe school environment; ensuring compliance with Board, local provincial government operational and health and safety standards.
As a Supply Custodian, you also have the opportunity to apply for Permanent Part Time and Full Time Permanent Custodial positions within the Board. Anywhere from 1/2hr to 8hrs per day permanent hours. Positions are awarded as per the posting process within the Collective Agreement.
Skills and Qualifications:
Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be familiar with Health and Safety guidelines.
Board specific online training, including WHMIS 2015, will be required prior to job commencement.
Good interpersonal and customer service skills in dealing with the school community and general public.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize the completion of custodial activities within an assigned area in a school.
Must be computer literate and be able to communicate via email.
