The impact you'll have:
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable AI Presales Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for showcasing enterprise-grade AI solutions to customers, focusing on different industry and functional use cases. The ideal candidate will be inspirational for the customer, curious about their business, and have a deep understanding of predictive and generative AI concepts.
What you will do:
- Demonstrate enterprise-grade AI solutions that drive business outcomes for customers.
- Drawing upon your deep knowledge of AI, explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
- Own the development and execution of customer-facing demos and presentations.
- Using feedback and experience garnered from past demos and presentations, ensure content remains fresh and relevant, updating and improving presentations over time as required.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in AI and related on-prem and cloud services.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert and go-to resource when it comes to all things AI.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager, AI Solutions Architecture, and other team members to ensure alignment with overall strategy.
- Provide meaningful and actionable observations and feedback from customer interactions to help improve our AI solutions and services offerings.
- Provide industry insights to Softchoice leadership based on these customer interactions.
What you'll bring to the table:
- 3+ years’ progressively senior experience in a customer-facing role within the technology sector
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree is considered a plus
- Relevant certifications in the AI space (Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate is preferred)
- Proven experience in demonstrating data solutions and engaging with line-of-business and/or IT customers as well as C-suite customers with a focus on business value of AI solutions .
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric concepts and solutions across various industries.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with data analysis, visualization, and modeling tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Passion for technology and a desire to learn new things.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
