Location: Mississauga (Hybrid - 3 days)

Sales Engineers are responsible for satisfying the needs of new and existing customers to maximize their experience with SOTI products. This includes, providing technical support, revenue generation in add-on sales and professional service training and following up on support cases as needed. This position demands managing a fast-paced Sales Engineering team and making sure the team maintains a high level of customer service through all interactions as a SOTI representative.

What You’ll Do
Foster a team culture of collaboration, high-performance, and fun
Drive strategy for team growth. This would include spot coaching, in-role development, career planning mentorship and succession planning.
Mentor Team Leads within your organization to continuously develop their team members
Drive collaboration with Support & Services organizations regionally to provide the best end to end customer experience
Ensure that sales pipeline, deal registrations and POC results are being tracked and reported regionally
Clear the way internally and unblock obstacles for your team when high visibility or executive escalations occur
Maximize employee contribution by developing, mentoring, and motivating employees
Continuously review the sales engineering process to identify areas of optimization
Achieve targets for key performance indicators as outlined by the organization
Develop and grow revenue through collaboration with your regional sales, marketing, and product management teams
Support & provide oversight in strategic customer/partner engagements to ensure executive level and engagement
Continuously educate your team on how SOTI solutions effectively address both business and technical outcomes to drive organizational value.
Communicate with internal product development teams to resolve complex product issues & generate recommendations for product roadmaps (feature request)
Analyze SOTI's market segment (industry knowledge) & partner channels to provide recommendations to the sales & product management teams for product enhancements
Lead execution of corporate projects and initiatives while collaborating with your team for delegation and providing updates to senior leadership
Experience You will Bring
Minimum of 7 years’ experience working in sales engineering, technical sales, or support lead roles
Minimum of 5 years management experience or in a leadership role
Proven track record of mentorship, team enablement and fostering a culture of team unity
Experience in presenting to Fortune 500 corporations, leading technical workshop sessions and proposing software solutions
Experience in creating, monitoring, and achieving KPI’s with high autonomy
Work experience related to enterprise mobility (Android, iOS, Linux, Windows), BYOD, SaaS
Proven track record of collaboration and problem-solving skills for complex technical engagements while driving deadlines
Able to plan, prioritize and organize workload across a multi-tiered team while providing updates to senior leadership
Good understanding and knowledge of navigating large enterprise projects to ensure adequate resourcing for project delivery
Excellent ability to communicate the complexities of technical programs & solutions to C-Level executives
Understanding and hands on experience with AWS, Azure or SaaS cloud infrastructure
Knowledge of computer networking principles (DNS, IP network, Firewalls, etc.)
Knowledge with Single Sign-On (SSO), Identity Application Management (IAM), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), Identity provider (IdP), certificates, encryption, etc.
Understanding and experience with Databases (i.e. MS SQL server, MY-SQL, MongoDB, etc.)
