SOTI is looking for a Senior Content Specialist interested in building compelling and engaging B2B content. You will bring a “voice of the audience” approach to this exciting opportunity to create targeted messaging and content. Your creativity and collaborative skills will help you develop compelling content that engages our SOTI audiences with problem/solution/value methodology, aligned to the company’s roadmap for end customers, partners, resellers and more.

The Senior Content Specialist role will be responsible for end-to-end content development, which includes: planning, executing, and measuring the success of the content they produce, including compelling content designed for: blogs, web, newsletters, webinars, emails, presentations, training support materials and partner success stories.

This hands-on role comes with a high degree of autonomy and will require you to collaborate with cross-functional teams (executives, sales, marketing, operations and finance) and external stakeholders (reseller channel, customers, partners and more).

The ideal candidate must have prior experience as a content creator, with an interest in the tech industry/B2B space. Examples of prior writing, a demonstrated learning mindset, and attention to detail are required.

What you’ll do:

  • Build strong relationships with product marketing and sales to fully understand SOTI’s products - then aligning your content development accordingly
  • Transform existing, and create net-new marketing materials into content that delivers value to our global audiences, with specific attention to our reseller channel audience
  • Curate and drive the timely development of world class content, including: the company’s Partner Portal, presentations, multimedia copy, webinars, newsletters, articles, and blog content, often from the reseller channel point of view
  • Build and manage a calendar of content - provide transparency to internal and external stakeholders across all regions around products, programs, training, and partner offerings
  • Create strong processes and demonstrate effective project management skills to drive timely creation of content
  • Through research and collaboration with internal teams, gather market intelligence and analyze competitor content to keep messaging and content up to date
  • Actively encourage and support: product marketing, sales, field marketing and reseller channel sales feedback into development of content strategy, while aligning to established messaging guidelines and priorities

What you’ll bring:

  • Ideal candidate has 3+ years of content creation experience
  • Interest and experience in technology, with prior B2B experience highly preferred
  • You have experience curating and creating written business content, familiarity with the IT reseller channel is an asset
  • Excellent writing and editing skills are essential - keen attention to detail with an innate ability to self-edit, respond to feedback with a growth mindset, and tailor approaches to the intended audience and medium
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with cross functional subject matter experts
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure, maintaining strong project management standards for end to end process of content creation, editing, approvals and publication
  • Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced global organization
  • Experience with CRM (i.e., Salesforce) & Marketing Automation (i.e., Pardot, GoToWebinar) or ability to learn as part of onboarding encouraged
  • Ability to work with global stakeholders across multiple timezones which sometimes requires flexibility
  • You are a graduate with a degree in Journalism, English, Professional Writing, Communications, or related discipline
