Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Work Model: Hybrid, 3 days in-office

If you are a seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer with a DevOps background or have a strong interest in DevOps tools, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We believe that bright minds learn swiftly, and we are eager to provide the necessary training and support to ensure your success!

As the successful candidate, you are a Computer Science expert with strong logical thinking, excellent understanding of algorithms, data structures, software architecture and design, and you understand the logic behind how things work. You are excited to work shoulder to shoulder with talented Software Developers and Test Specialists breaking down complex problems into simple solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • You will be working across functional (development/testing, deployment, systems/infrastructure) and project teams to ensure continuous operation of build and test systems

  • You will be driving and perfecting our vision of Continuous Delivery and making the release experience easy and enjoyable

  • You will be building high quality tools and automation for internal use to support continuous delivery and increasing the velocity and productivity of engineering teams

  • You will develop and maintain tools and scripts to build, deploy, test, automate and streamline product delivery from engineers to customers

  • You will design and implement tools and scripts to allow automated configuration management

  • Have fun, with all of the above!

Experience You’ll Bring

  • Excellent math and logical thinking, ability to understand the logic behind Computer Science and the relationships within programs themselves

  • Strong education in Computer Science/Math is preferred

  • A minimum of 5 years of related industry experience working in software development environments

  • Solid understanding of Data Structure, Algorithms and Object-Oriented Design

  • Experience in software architecture/design/best development practices

  • Experience (or strong interest) in agile methods such as Scrum/XP, Behaviour Driven Development, and Continuous Delivery

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • You are eager to constantly learn and update your skills, and you like to share knowledge with others.

  • You are a self-starter with a high degree of initiative and a can-do attitude with a positive mindset.

  • Strong education in Computer Science/Math is preferred.


A big (!) bonus, however, we are happy to train you:

  • Experience with DevOps/Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery/Infrastructure as Code/Infrastructure as Service concepts

  • Solid understanding and experience of integrating security tools and practices within the DevOps process

  • Knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting languages

  • Solid knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices and tools such as Jenkins, GoCD, Bamboo, etc.

  • Good working knowledge of Source Code repository systems (Git, TFS)

  • Hands-on experience of working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, GCP

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and acquire new technologies in the areas of DevOps

  • Experience of working with Docker containers, Kubernetes, Packer, Kitchen, Chef, Artifactory, Sonar and other tools used for orchestration
