As a pillar of the large-format machining department, you will be at the heart of our production operations. From the creation and adjustment of machining programs to the production of prototypes and acceptance parts, you will actively contribute to guaranteeing the quality and conformity of the parts produced. In this position, you will have the opportunity to :
- Perform complete assembly activities on all machines and equipment, with or without established assembly procedures (prototypes and acceptance parts).
- Create or modify machining programs (in Code G language)
- Participate in drawing up the inspection plan (measurements, checks and frequencies) in collaboration with the metrology technician.
- Ensure that the parts produced comply with the inspection plan, while respecting the right quotas and given times.
- Help improve machining strategies (e.g. set-up time, production speed, stability, etc.)
- Coach A and B set-up operators by checking and authorizing their assembly procedures.
- Anticipate irregularities (non-conformities), identify their cause and take the necessary corrective action (adjust machinery).
- Set alarms on all machining department machines
- Drive forklift and operate overhead crane
- Perform all other job-related tasks
