Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supervisor - Infrastructure, the Cloud Infrastructure and Network Officer will:
? Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure.
? Design, implement and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
? Maintain and monitor and optimize the performance of cloud-based systems.
? Create and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and procedures.
? Create and maintain documentation for network infrastructure and procedures.
? Provide technical guidance and support to other internal and external teams.
? Ensure the network is secure and reliable, with minimal downtime.
? Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
? Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
? Collaborate and support development teams to ensure the seamless deployment of applications to the cloud.
? Research and recommend new technologies in support of continuous improvements.
? Responsible for managing and maintaining safe and secure backup.
? Responsible for managing and maintaining all servers.
Qualifications and Skills
? Diploma from a recognized college in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
? Experience with Veeam Backup, Cloud backup.
? Knowledge of Storage Area Networks (SAN).
? Knowledge of core infrastructure services: File sharing, DHCP, DNS, VPN, RADIUS, RD Gateways, AD CS (PKI).
? Experience in cloud infrastructure and Microsoft Azure.
? Experience with PowerShell and Azure CLI, SQL, SCCM, and developing reports.
? Experience with remote terminal services and VPN.
? Experience with Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Backup.
? Experience with cloud automation and management tools such as Azure Resource Manager, Azure Automation, and Azure Monitor.
? Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
? Experience in network architecture and design.
? Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
? Experience with Fortinet network equipment.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Excellent communication and customer service skills.
? Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
? Must be available after hours to perform system maintenance and respond to system failures and security events.
