TEACHER REQUIRED FOR PLAIN LAKE HUTTERITE COLONY SCHOOL Plain Lake Hutterite Colony School requires a n interim 1.0 FTE teacher commencing February 18, 2025 , to June 26, 2025 . The Plain Lake Hutterite Colony is located 15 km south of Two Hills and 42 km northeast of Vegreville, Alberta. The school serves students from the Colony in grades 1 to 9, with 26 students. The successful candidate will:have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificatebe committed to student-centered learningunderstand and correctly use formative/summative assessment practise effective differentiated learning strategies to ensure learningbe collaborative and committed to building relationships with students, parents, staffCross-cultural experience would be an asset as would experience or training in working with English Language Learners as English is their second language. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with a unique cultural group and willing to work within the expectations of the culture. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently as the only teacher at the school and will be responsible for working with two Educational Assistants.
