Accounting Officer St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Separate School Division is seeking applicants for a full-time Accounting Officer based at the division office in Leduc, Alberta commencing as soon as possible or a mutually agreed upon date.Reporting to the Director of Finance and Business, the successful candidate is responsible for:processing payments, assessing proper coding and reasonableness of invoices, and verification of invoice authorizations.administering the Division Purchase Card program.troubleshoots and acts as a help desk to users of the financial software in relation to purchase orders, invoice payments, and report generation.preparing and assisting with annual audit preparations.providing backup to reception; andother duties as required.Qualifications include:Diploma in an Accounting or Business qualification.Minimum 2 years working experience in an accounting role; andKnowledge of accounting systems such as Atrieve, or related systems.Salary will be commensurate with experience.
