Description
St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Schools seeks a dedicated and experienced leader to serve as the System Leader of Strategic Supports. This individual must have a minimum of three years of successful experience as a principal and a strong background in leading school communities. The System Leader will provide strategic oversight of supports for inclusive education, student services, and high-quality learning experiences for students with diverse needs. This person will work collaboratively with school administrators, central office leadership, and stakeholders to uphold the mission and values of STAR Catholic Schools.
Education: Master’s Degree in Education or a related field (required) and a Leadership Quality Standards Certificate (or be eligible).
Experience: Minimum of three years as a principal; K-12 experience preferred.
Faith Commitment: A practicing Catholic dedicated to faith-based education.
Expertise: Strong background in inclusive education and supports for diverse learners.
Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate, lead, and guide administrators effectively.

This position is a central office administrative role with the Board, offered as a fixed-term contract and designated as out-of-scope from the school division’s collective agreement for certificated teachers.
