As an Insurance and Wealth Associate in our newly created Prospr by Sun Life team your work will directly contribute to our mission of helping clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.

As a member of our dynamic team, you will play an integral role supporting new and existing clients with service needs as well as encouraging them to consult with our fully licensed Prospr Advisors who will provide holistic Life, Health and Wealth solutions.You are an effective communicator who possesses outstanding customer service skills and consistently demonstrates professionalism. You are flexible and can adapt within an ambiguous environment with shifting priorities. You are a solution oriented and use active listening to understand client needs and provide tailored and timely recommendations; and you thrive in a work environment committed to continuous improvement, personal growth, and professional development. Reporting to the Team Lead, Service to Sales, you will:

  • Answer calls from our existing Prospr block of clients with the goal of fulfilling their service needs

  • Make outbound calls to clients who have submitted service requests; service requests include but are not limited to policy level changes, beneficiary changes, and account reviews

  • Make outbound calls to new and existing clients to identify new sales opportunities and offer financial planning services

  • Manage the death claims process and fulfill outstanding death claims

  • Support and triage clients entering the Prospr platform through the chat function

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build credibility and rapport

  • Experience in a call centre environment

  • Knowledge / experience within the financial services industry

  • Availability on a variable schedule Monday to Friday between 8am to 8pm

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong relationship building skills

  • Experience in blended or outbound Call Centre or telephone servicing

  • Sun Life Individual Insurance and Investment product knowledge

  • Experience using Salesforce.com for client relationship management

  • Ability to leverage digital tools to create engaging client interactions

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Adaptable and resourceful

      The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
