This individual will coordinate the actions of the cross functional team (bringing the right people together) to identify and close care gaps within the customer journey and community. Their purpose is to create value for all stakeholders: HCPs, patients and the client. This person, driven by passion and curiosity, will work to accelerate the HCP experience with the product through the appropriate engagement channels, gain consent, and apply data and insights to drive smart, informed and value-based conversations with specialists, key clinics, and other critical stakeholders. These strong competencies must support the development of local business plans that create value for HCPs to achieve improved patient outcomes and exceed sales goals across their region.
Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, this collaborator will work with territory sales reps to deliver on the commercial strategy and increase HCP knowledge and adoption of the product through innovative customer solutions. Critical for success will be the ability to partner with Medical, Marketing and Market Access to develop an integrated and coordinated cross-functional customer engagement/ solutions territory plan.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIESJob Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop strong customer relationships by creating value through better understanding the customer’s needs, patient journey and gaps in therapy and deploying solutions accordingly.
- Serve as a resource/consultant to customers and staff regarding guidelines, best practices and a connector of networks
- Maximize use of commercial resources growing the customers’ confidence in prescribing the product for appropriate patients
- Partner with local GP reps (Product Specialists) to ensure a holistic community understanding of the therapeutic treatment paradigm enabling coordinated/integrated customer engagement plans
- Building comprehensive call plans on targets utilizing strategic vision and corresponding tactics in addition to cross-functional inputs
- Communicate territory activity in an accurate and timely manner as directed by management
- Develop a comprehensive and effective territory business plan aimed at achieving and exceeding annual goals established by commercial leadership
- Promote portfolio within approved labeling in a comprehensive, fair, and ethical manner that is consistent with industry specific and corporate legal and regulatory guidelines
- Minimal overnight travel as indicated by the needs of the business
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of specialty field sales experience and/or account management
- Demonstrated experience delivering outstanding results
- CNS/Psychiatry experience is an asset
- Previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience with at least five years in specialty sales
- Launch experience strongly preferred
- Must live in the territory's geography
- Experience strategizing within cross-functional teams, utilizing differential resources to achieve business goals
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment
- Comfortability with uncertainty and high expectations
- Strong capabilities in integrating different channels (omni channel/digital) to create an exception HCP experience
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
