About the Role:
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing robust analytical support, developing intermediate to complex recurring reporting, as well as ad hoc operational and financial performance reports for assigned functional areas or divisions.
This position will collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Operations, and other Finance teams to support data-driven decision making. A successful candidate for this role will execute the key job responsibilities listed, drive improvements in the underlying analytical tools/processes and proactively report actionable data to business partners.
What You'll Do:
Provide business unit management with analytical support, including P&L projections, ratio analysis, budgeting and cost analysis related to business models.
Create, maintain & develop financial model based off Power BI and other databases to improve and streamline processes.
Understands key business drivers and assists with financial planning and goaling process.
Review and analyze reports to verify results and explain anomalies.
Analyze historical and current financial data to understand the company's financial status.
Develop predictive financial models to support organizational decision making.
Establish benchmarks for financial processes.
Manage upward by providing regular project/status updates to team leadership.
Develop forecasting tools to automate financial data analysis.
Actively participate and add value to ad hoc Finance initiatives and inter-departmental projects.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
Designated/ pursuing CPA.
3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience.
Proven proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications, including power BI.
Excellent reporting, presentation, and communication skills.
Attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
Proven analytical and financial modeling skills.
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Build effective working relationships with others.
Ability to work with large datasets.
Strategic thinking and organizational skills.
