You Are:

You are a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional IT support. With a solid understanding of both Windows and MacOS operating systems, you are adept at troubleshooting hardware and software issues with ease. Your strong communication skills enable you to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical personnel effectively. You are highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and possess a high level of accountability. You take pride in your ability to maintain effective relationships with colleagues and internal customers, ensuring their IT needs are met promptly and efficiently.


What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Providing day-to-day technical support to local hands-on and remote employees for hardware, software, and networking issues on their laptops and mobile devices.
  • Assisting in the IT asset life cycle refresh process for new hires and existing employees, including imaging, configuring, and migrating to new systems.
  • Assisting in various IT functions such as hardware and software installations and rolling out new systems to end users/groups.
  • Maintaining passwords, data integrity, and file system security.
  • Managing logistical aspects of laptop and accessory distribution at our Austin, Texas office location, including asset management, inventory management, and shipping and receipt of hardware. Retiring and secure disposal of IT assets as needed.
  • Developing, documenting, implementing, and communicating standard operating procedures and instructional guidelines for IT teams and end users.
  • Participating in new software or hardware testing, including providing detailed technical feedback.
  • Minimal travel, as needed, to support field site projects.


Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in maintenance of network equipment and teleconference equipment.
  • Assists other teams within the Information Technology organization to support their projects, hardware, and software
  • Assists in the support of the computer room and data center operations arena

  • Improve IT support processes by developing and implementing standard operating procedures and instructional guidelines.
  • Contribute to the successful rollout and adoption of new hardware and software systems within the organization.

What You’ll Need:
  • Proficiency with Windows and MacOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, with extensive experience in Excel and SharePoint being a plus.
  • Working knowledge of mobile wireless operating systems (iOS and Android).
  • Thorough understanding of PC computer hardware and efficient troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to move up to 40 pounds of hardware occasionally and/or frequently support a variety of office equipment.
