As a Service Technician for Rotoweld, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and technical support of automated welding equipment. The role involves frequent travel (40-80 days per year), including international assignments, to ensure optimal machine performance and high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to welding and equipment.
  • Communicate with clients using various software.
  • Install, start up, and train clients on Rotoweld equipment.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on automated welding systems.
  • Train client operators and maintenance teams on equipment use and upkeep.
  • Document interventions and create service reports.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams for technical improvements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Welding, Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of MIG welding processes.
  • Experience as a service technician or 3-5 years as a pipe welder with MIG, or as a welding supervisor.
  • Bilingual (English and French).
  • Proficient in using Windows and other software.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in a field setting.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
