Description
Advisor, Reliability-The successful person will support business units in maintaining and improving reliability (Excellent corporate culture where the health and safety of employees is paramount) My client is located in Sorel-Tracy (45 minutes from Montreal). Will cover relocation costs if needed
My client is looking for a Reliability Advisor to join the asset management team of RTFT - Opérations Québec who will work closely with all operational sectors to support the various improvement initiatives and contribute to the achievement of corporate objectives. This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance/Reliability Professional to continue their development by supporting business units in maintaining and improving reliability, working with them to improve the integrity of their assets and deploying best practices in Asset Management. Reporting to the Superintendent, RTFT Asset Management Operations Quebec.
Roles and responsibilities
- Guide the development and updating of operational area maintenance strategies and tactics based on best practices within the group and the industry.
- Provide leadership and support for the implementation of reliability processes and provide coaching of resources to build capacity by accompanying teams in the various improvement processes.
- Act as a sponsor on the reliability process and influence compliance with roles and responsibilities to make asset management practices effective. ( Collaborate with the sectors for the assessment and management of risks over the life cycle of assets and ensure monitoring of the state of health and equipment under high surveillance.
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering.
- Member of OIQ( Experience in reliability in heavy industry with good knowledge of global Asset Management processes.
- Ability to promote good practices and influence( Strong communication skills and be customer support oriented
- Experience in the use of problem solving tools and RCM, FMEA methodologies.
- Demonstrated mastery of the different types of interview strategies ( Structured vision and organizational skills developed)
