Assignment:
Full-time temporary replacement Colony School principal position
Grades K-9
Working as a Colony school teacher/principal at Alix Colony School
In addition to the teacher salary, the Colony Principal will receive an additional allowance
Duties to commence on August 28, 2024 and will continue until November 29, 2024
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to teach the Alberta Curriculum in a multi-graded setting.
Work collaboratively with the colony leadership and German teacher.
Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment
Assessment literate
Experience teaching within colony schools would be considered an asset
Ability to differentiate instruction to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
Effective classroom management
Commitment to ongoing professional growth
Experience teaching in a multi-grade classroom would be considered an asset.
