Assignment: Part-time 0.70 FTE Educational Assistant position Duties to commence January 6, 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year Lacombe Outreach School; Grades 10-12, working with students individually and in small groups settings. Assisting Teacher in daily classroom activities and assisting with breakfast and lunch program Qualifications and/or Assets: Experience and training working with youth with diverse learning needs Strong interpersonal and communication skills Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teachers and other educational assistants in the classroom/school Familiar with technology would be considered an asset Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment Willingness to assist in Breakfast/Lunch programs Familiarity with senior high curriculum, strategies and concepts Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset Application: *Applications for this employment opportunity are preferred via email.
