Assignment: Full-time 1.0 FTE Educational Assistant position Duties to commence January 6, 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year Working with Elementary students in an individual and classroom setting Qualifications and/or Assets: Experience working with Elementary aged children would be considered an asset Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills Background and/or experience with academic, speech and language, or behavioral needs would be considered an asset Ability to work one on one with a student in an inclusive environment Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personalityCalm and patient approach to solving problems Reliability and eager to learn would be considered an asset Flexibility to work in a variety of programs Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset Application: *Applications for this employment opportunity are preferred via email.
