Description
Assignment:
- Part-time 0.50 FTE Educational Assistant position
- Mornings only
- Duties to commence March 3, 2025 and continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year
- Working with students in a junior high small group setting
Qualifications and/or Assets:
- Experience working with students with complex/severe needs
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
- Calm and patient approach to solving problems
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment
- Background and/or experience with academic and/or behavioral needs
- Ability to work one on eon and in small groups with students in an inclusive environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
- Knowledge of literacy and numeracy strategies would be considered an asset
- Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant
