A Day in the Life:

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all daily outbound shipments are completed in a timely manner and that all documentation is filled out accurately and completely. You will support the daily processing of outbound shipments, coordinating deliveries from outside warehouses and ensuring that all shipments are made on time to their respective destinations. Additionally, you will play an important role in maintaining LEAN and 5S initiatives and procedures within the distribution environment.

Education:

  • High school diploma is required

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse, or supply chain or a related field
  • Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Prioritize daily work activities to ensure shipment requirements are aligned and accomplished
  • Clearly communicate requirements to vendors, marketing, and customer service through both verbal and written communication

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This position requires standing for a period of 8 hours during a 10-hour shift and may involve moving boxes weighing up to 30 lbs. The work environment may range from ambient temperatures to as low as 2-4 degrees Celsius and minus 20 degrees Celsius.
