Order Desk clerk

We are looking for an Order Desk Clerk. This is a full-time contract with the possibility of permanence and benefits.

Location: Saint-Leonard

Salary: Between $21 and $24 depending on experience

Hours: 8am. to 5pm., Monday to Friday. Free parking on site.

Tasks :

  • Take customer orders (by phone or fax)
  • Invoice orders shipped to customers
  • Manage specific customer needs in collaboration with the Customer Service Coordinator
  • Follow up to ensure orders are prepared and products are available for next day shipment.
  • At the request of the customer and the needs, make the request to the quality control
  • Make the list of deliveries for our trucks
  • Complete the appropriate form when returning merchandise and submit it upon shipment
  • Perform inventory corrections
  • Contact customers to report order delays or other specific issues
  • Filing packing slips, order taking sheets and invoices
  • Make sure to file all customer information in their respective files
  • Clerical and administrative support
  • Archiving and organization of customer files
  • Reception of complaints and customer feedback to communicate it to the quality department
  • All other duties related to the position.

Requested skills

Requirements:

  • Bilingualism is required (French and English). As this position requires frequent interactions with international trading partners, the English language will be used daily at an advanced level.
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • College diploma in Administration
  • Relevant experience of 2 to 3 years
  • Judgment, interpersonal skills, courtesy, diplomacy, sense of organization, patience, versatility.
