With a staff of 14,000, the Toronto Catholic is a dynamic school board and is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Enterprise Applications.

CRITERIA FOR AN INTERVIEW ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Minimum four (4) years degree from a recognized University or college in computer

science, or a related field

Minimum of seven (7) years of management or equivalent experience

Prior experience in training and development within a corporate environment is beneficial

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong leadership and management skills, ability to motivate, mentor and coach diverse team to coordinate, leverage and support large initiatives and operational workflows

Ability to invest in a demanding learning process and apply it to development programs to ensure that training schemes are up-to-date and useful

Experience with vendor management, contract negotiation, resource management, budget planning and forecasting

Sound knowledge of instructional systems design and instructional design models

Proactive and self-driven, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Applications and Solution Delivery, the Senior Coordinator of Enterprise Solutions is responsible for implementing sustainable and creative digital solutions to support the academic and business centric design of products and services and lead the design, development and delivery of training relating to enterprise application. The role will be involved in building collaborative relationships with a diverse network of stakeholders towards cultivating strong outcomes through respectful, inclusive, and strategic partnerships inside, outside and across the TCDSB system. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Identify opportunities for constructive innovation and look for opportunities for positive disruption to promote progress and continuous improvement

Oversee product management, ensuring deliverables are successfully implemented and aligned to TCDSB Multi-Year Strategic Plan and organizational priorities

Oversee and guide the software development process

Developing, deploying, sustaining, and transforming large-scale service-oriented products and services while retaining knowledge of systems and architectures in complex organizations

Incorporate research and design methodologies to develop inclusive, responsive, seamless products and services

Manage large-scale, complex, high-profile, and high-risk technology initiatives that are enterprise-wide in scope

Supervise and mentor the following teams: enterprise application, documentation support and software development; set performance goals, provide feedback, and address performance issues

Prepare reports, budget forecasts, as well as cost and benefit analysis as required

Organize and coordinate day-to-day operations within the software development management teams to ensure that processes run smoothly and contribute to maximum productivity

Collaborate with management and software developers to determine software solution requirements, understand the organization’s needs and align software development goals accordingly

Oversee third-party managed services to foster and manage vendor relationships, vigilantly monitoring adherence to service level agreements and cultivating robust partnerships with vendors.

Direct training, documentation and support activities to enhance employee skills, improve performance and foster continuous organizational learning about Enterprise Applications and ICT initiatives

Direct the development of comprehensive training plans that address identified needs to individual roles and organizational goals

Coordinate the analysis of client feedback to enhance and strengthen the training programs to ensure the training program remains responsive, relevant, and robust in meeting the evolving needs of the TCDSB

Lead the identification of current and future training needs, orchestrate the strategic development of training from planning to implementation and evaluation, and manage the allocation of resources for these training initiatives

Develop, recommend, and modify policies, procedures, and technical assistance methods to adapt to evolving needs and requirements, including implementing these strategies and enforcing standards to ensure quality and consistency

Oversee the formulation of evaluation strategies, assessment of the effectiveness of individual training modules, compilation of comprehensive reports of evaluation outcomes, and the development of strategic plans for quality enhancement

Manage the Aspen Student Information System, encompassing maintenance, configuration, issue resolution through collaboration with vendors, diagnosis of software-related problems, and ensuring strict adherence to standards and regulations

Oversee the resolution of incidents and issues related to Enterprise Applications, utilizing our ticketing system and knowledge base

Perform any other duties as assigned or required
