The Parts and Service Clerk is responsible for providing efficient and quality internal service to the company's drivers. They manage the parts required for vehicle maintenance, coordinate service appointments, and provide technical support to drivers.

Responsabilities:

  • Driver Support :
    • Assist drivers with their parts and service requests.
    • Answer drivers' technical questions regarding vehicle maintenance.
    • Fournir des conseils et des recommandations sur les pièces et les services.
    • Maintain clear and efffective communication with drivers.
  • Parts Management :
    • Identify and locate required parts in inventory.
    • Prepare parts orders for service technicians.
    • Maintain inventory up-to-date and place replenishment orders.
    • Receive and verify parts deliveries.
    • Ensure proper organization of parts storage.
  • Coordination du service :
    • Schedule and coordinate service appointments for company vehicles.
    • Prepare work orders and internal invoices.
    • Track service work and inform drivers of progress.
  • Administrative Duties :
    • Use computer systems to manage orders, inventory, and appointments.
    • Perform internal transactions and manage documents related to parts and services.
    • Maintain up-to-date driver records

Requested skills

  • Previous experience in a parts clerk or customer service position, preferably in the transportation industry.
  • Knowledge of heavy vehicle parts and their maintenance.
  • Computer skills and proficiency with inventory management software.
  • Excellent communication and internal service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
